Where is The Retreatment held?
What are arrival and departure times?
Programming begins at 5:00 pm CST on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Programming ends at 10:00 am CST on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
Flight information
We highly suggest that you book your flights immediately. The Mérida International Airport is a 45-minute drive from Hacienda Itzincab de Cámara. There are direct flights from Mexico City, DFW, Houston, Miami, Toronto, and more.
Transportation
Please take note of the suggested arrival and departure times and book your flight accordingly, so that you can join our Group Shuttle.
To Hacienda Itzincab de Cámara: Our pre-arranged shuttle will depart Mérida Airport no later than 4:00 pm CST on November 6, 2024. We suggest booking a flight that arrives by 3:00 pm CST or earlier.
To the Mérida airport: Our pre-arranged shuttle will depart Hacienda Itzincab de Cámara at 11:00 am CST on November 10, 2024. We suggest booking a flight that departs at 2:00 pm CST or later.
If you cannot take a flight that arrives within that hour, we must ask you to make your own way to the Hacienda. Email us at [email protected] and we can connect you with the Hacienda team, who will happily arrange for your transportation.
Share your itinerary
When you’re ready, please share your travel itinerary with us HERE. We must collect this information for all students, regardless of whether or not you are utilizing our group shuttle. Travel itineraries must be received by October 6, 2024, to ensure a spot on the shuttle. Our shuttle schedule will be sent one week prior to our arrival.

Fitness/yoga clothes
Sneakers (we suggest you take The Class in shoes)
Casual attire and light layers suited for heat
Reusable water bottle: there will be refill stations with filtered water throughout the Hacienda, as we do not suggest drinking the tap water
Swimsuit, sandals, sunglasses, and a hat, if needed, to protect from the sun
Sunscreen and eco-friendly bug spray
Dollars or pesos to have on hand for travel, if needed—we suggest using the ATM at Mérida Airport upon arrival
Altar offering: a token of something you’d like to create more of, let go of, or honor

How can I book massage appointments?
Massage appointments may be booked on site upon arrival. A reminder that massage services are not included in the Retreatment total.
Are afternoon activities required?
Everything during The Retreatment is optional. We highly encourage you to join us for meditation, The Class, and restorative afternoon movement, as this programming is designed to be cumulative. This week is about taking care of YOU. Please do what feels best and right for your body and spirit.
What is an altar offering?
During The Retreatment, we invite you to bring an object that holds meaning for you. We will create a space at the front of our practice room for you to place this object. It could be a photo, a piece of art, jewelry, a letter… anything. We suggest that you think about this ahead of time. Begin the process of envisioning what you are stepping into this week and how this offering can support your journey.
Dietary allergies
All our meals will be gluten-free, dairy-free, refined-sugar-free, sourced locally, and, most importantly, delicious.

How do I access my 30-day free trial to The Class Digital Studio?
An access link will be provided in your Welcome to The Retreatment email. Please be sure you are subscribed to receive The Class emails, and check your promotions/spam folders.
Is pricing in USD?
Yes, pricing listed on our website is in USD.
How can I accept contributions from friends and family towards my trip?
The Contributions feature through our booking platform, WeTravel, allows you to fundraise and collect payments from your family and friends to put towards your trip balance. Read more about contributions HERE.
About Hacienda Itzincab de Cámara
Does Hacienda Itzincab de Cámara have air conditioning in the rooms?
Yes, there is AC and fans in each room at the Hacienda.
Will each room be locked individually within the Hacienda?
Yes, we will offer individual locks and keys to each guest for their bedrooms.
Are there safes for valuables inside each bedroom?
There are no safes in the bedrooms. Please be mindful of any valuables you pack.
Are electrical converters needed?
No, most plugs in Mexico are the same as in the US: two flat prongs.
Are yoga mats provided?
Yes.
What amenities are provided in the bathrooms?
Hairdryers, bathrobes, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion are supplied in each bathroom.
Is the water safe to drink?
Please bring a refillable water bottle, as noted in the packing list. There will be fresh drinking water and glasses available 24 hours a day in the main house and inside each room.
Is wifi available?
Yes. The common areas and main house have the strongest signal.
I am driving myself; is parking available?
Yes, complimentary parking is available on property.
Are pool towels provided?
Yes.
Will alcohol be served?
There will be alcohol available through your room tab at the hotel. Please provide a credit card upon arrival, so your tab may be settled when you depart. Alcohol is not included in The Retreatment total.
Is laundry service available?
Yes, laundry service can be provided by people in the community. This service is charged in cash only and ranges from $5 to $50 MXN.
Logistics
What is the cancellation policy?
‘The Class Corp’ does not offer refunds for the deposit for any reason.
If you should need to cancel prior to the October 6, 2024, payment deadline, you will not be responsible for the remainder of your payment.
Should you need to cancel on or after October 6, 2024, the remainder of your payment must be paid in full.
‘The Class Corp’ is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
When is my remainder due?
Remainder payments are due October 6, 2024. Payments are auto-enabled using your credit card on file through WeTravel.
Travel cancellation insurance
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance through your travel agent, or visit the following web site to compare insurers: www.worldnomads.com.
