The Class is a music-driven somatic workout where we exercise the body to engage the mind and connect to the heart. Calling on repetition, deep muscle engagement, endurance and breathwork, we regulate the nervous system and release stuck energy by moving the physical body.
The Method, founded in 2011 by Taryn Toomey, weaves together bodyweight movements with cardiovascular training to help build resilience from the inside out. Through purposeful repetition and thoughtful cueing, we strengthen muscles, expand endurance, and stretch the cardiovascular system.
Elements of breathwork and meditation layer into every practice to clear the mind and cultivate attention that anchors us in the present.
Through engaging with physical sensation and sound release practices, each Class is an opportunity to move emotional energy; an invitation to wring out, elevate, inspire, or release.
